This paper discusses information resources on the Internet to search for information about participants in the Great Patriotic War. An example of a search for information about the soldier of this war, Daneev Vasily Alexandrovich, is given. Such informational resources as “The Book of Memory”, “Memory of the People”, “Feat of the People”, “Immortal Regiment” and others are considered. Also given are the email addresses of the respective databases with letters and memoirs, electronic libraries, archives.
